How to format a logical drive or a partition (FAT16, FAT32, NTFS)?

To format a logical drive (partition) select it in the graphical control or in Data Storage Devices and Partitions tree view and use command toolbar or context menu command Format... to open Format dialog.

Specify required parameters and confirm partition formatting.
